GreenTheUK and the RFS welcomed 19 Willmott Dixon employees to Battram Wood in April 2023, not long after Earth Day, to enjoy the woodland and connect as a team in nature. The day was energetic and packed with team-building activities and practical conservation. Teams helped to clear the educational area and create natural woodpiles for wildlife as well as planting two apple trees. We also toasted marshmallows on the open fire after learning how to use a flint stick. Luckily the sun was shining on the National Forest so everyone felt particularly re-charged at the end of a day in nature.

Having planted 1,732 climate resilient trees with us and 300 trees in schools, it was fantastic to meet the supporters of these projects.
